Description:
The Avalanche Safety Course is a unique opportunity to gain essential skills for staying safe in the winter mountains. This one-day training is suitable for all levels—from beginners to experienced ski tourers, freeriders, and mountaineers.

During the course, you will learn the fundamental principles of avalanche safety, including risk assessment, decision-making in avalanche terrain, and route planning. Special focus is given to practical skills with avalanche equipment: transceiver, shovel, and probe. Real-life field exercises allow each participant to practice locating a “victim,” rescue maneuvers, and effective team coordination.

  • Touring skis or splitboard with climbing skins, ski crampons
  • Avalanche safety kit (beacon, shovel, probe)
  • Boot crampons, harness
  • Warm, waterproof clothing
  • Helmet, gloves, goggles, backpack
